Cristiano Ronaldo addressed his goal tally and the big derby win against Al Hilal.
Cristiano Ronaldo has reiterated that he is not chasing the record to become the first player in history to cross 1000 official goals after he reached the 930-goal mark in the victory over Al Hilal.
The Portugal international already holds the record for most official goals in history and is actively pushing the target further for the next challenger.

Messi vs Ronaldo: Premier League icon makes controversial call in greatest players ranking
A former Premier League forward has surprisingly omitted one of Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo in his assessment of the greatest players of all time.
He has previously spoken about hitting the 1000-goal mark, leading many to speculate that the 40-year-old would keep pushing his body until he attains that goal. However, for Ronaldo, that is not his plan.

What Ronaldo said
The former Manchester United star led the Faris Najd to a dominant victory against their Riyadh rivals, Al Hilal, scoring a brace in the contest.
He combined with Sadio Mane at the 47th-minute mark to double his side's lead, after Ali Al Hassan had given them the lead. Ali Albulahyi pulled one back for the champions, but Ronaldo struck from the spot later in the game to seal a 3-1 victory.
The double was Cristiano’s 930th and 931st career official goals, an unprecedented tally. With 69 strikes away from a millennium of goals, Ronaldo was asked about the target of 1000 and had the following to say.

“Let’s enjoy the moment, the present. I’m not chasing 1,000 goals,” Ronaldo said, per World Soccer Talk. “If it is, yes, perfect; if it’s not, then no. The moment is the most special thing, not what it’s gonna come.
“I enjoyed the moment; it was a great win, not because I scored—I’m happy to score two goals against Al Hilal— but the most important it’s to win the derby.”
“We played against a fantastic team away. It’s always difficult, and we have to appreciate (the moment) and we have to continue because nine games left, with one more in the Champions League; everything is possible. We have to continue and believe,.
With the victory, Al Nassr halved their deficit against Al Hilal. Ronaldo's club (3rd) are now three points behind the Blue Waves in second and seven behind league leaders Al-Ittihad.
