Saudi Pro League Golden Boot Race
Cristiano Ronaldo has been peerless since he joined the Pro League in the second-half of the 2022/23 campaign. While he didn't finish with the Golden Boot that season, his 14 goals were only six short of Abderrazak Amdallah's 21.

The former France international has been on inspired form this season, however, and he is leading The Tigers’ charge for the title, as they currently sit first, four points above defending champions Al Hilal. His 15 league goals are only bettered by Ronaldo's 16, setting up a tasty Golden Boot battle.
What Benzema said
Benzema has always been vocal about his disinterest in goal tally. At Real Madrid, he was comfortable being the Robin to Ronaldo's batman at the expense of his numbers, and after the 40-year-old left the club, Benzema showed he was capable of being the chief goalscorer, leading Los Blancos to a Champions League triumph and receiving a Ballon d'Or for his troubles.
On opposite sides of the contest at the top of the Super Lig and leading his team's ambitions, Benzema is still not prepared to revel in his impressive numbers, stating he was fully focused on collective achievements.

"I enjoy football to make goals, to make assists, to help my team. Because the team is the more important for me. So, I'm happy."
