The Super Falcons were unable to secure any victories in their three matches within Group C, which led to their early exit from the tournament.

Days after the Super Falcons' were eliminated from the 2024 Paris Olympics, fan-favourite Michelle Alozie took to so go media to reflect on her playing position with a touch of humour.

Alozie, who currently plays as a right full-back under coach Randy Waldrum for the national team, has previously expressed her preference for the role of a right winger.

The 27-year-old Houston Dash star, took to Snapchat to share a playful jab at her current position.

Alozie posted a screenshot of Houston Dash’s lineup from their match against North Carolina Courage, in which she played as a lone striker and contributed an assist for Bárbara Olivieri's goal in a 3-0 victory back in May.

Alongside the lineup image, Alozie humorously captioned via her Snapchat channel, “im serious im a 9. i play 7/11 as well,” indicating her belief in her effectiveness in more attacking roles.

The Super Falcons’ underwhelming journey at the Olympics began with a narrow 1-0 loss to Brazil, a result that set a troubling tone for their group stage performances.

The team then faced the reigning World Cup champions, Spain, and suffered another defeat with the same scoreline. The final blow came in their last group game against Japan, where Nigeria succumbed to a 3-1 loss.
