Osimhen injury scare
The 26-year-old worked his socks off over the international break for the Super Eagles. He scored three goals in two games against Rwanda and Zimbabwe, which helped Nigeria add four points to their tally in Group C of the World Cup qualifiers.
As always, his intensity level was off the charts and in the final moments of the draw against Zimbabwe, he went to the ground gripping his thighs and had to be substituted.
Cim-Bom fans watched in fear, as the former Wolfsburg striker has almost single-handedly kept them at the top of the league table. There were fears that he would not be fit for the game against Besiktas this weekend; however, Yakub Cinar, a Galatasaray insider, has good news.

What he said
According to Cinar, per Haber Sariki Mizi, Osimhen, as well as star defender Davinson Sanchez, are both fit to play in the derby tomorrow evening at Tupras Stadyum.
“I have received information that Osimhen and Davinson Sanchez are fit to play in the Beşiktaş-Galatasaray derby,” Cinar said. “However, the final decision will be made by the medical board. Yunus Akgün is also ready to play in the derby.”
Osimhen is leading Galatasaray’s charge to the league title this season. He is currently the top scorer in the division with 20 goals, two more than the next best, Istanbul Başakşehir’s Kristof Piatek.
