The 21-year-old striker is the subject of interest from South African and Tanzanian clubs after his stellar campaign for K’Ogalo.
Gor Mahia striker Benson Omala would prefer a move to Europe if he were to leave the club.
The 21-year-old forward is just off a brilliant campaign with K’Ogalo where he scored a record-equaling 26 goals to finish just one behind Golden Boot winner Elvis Rupia of Kenya Police FC.

FOOTBALL South African giants join Orlando Pirates in race for Gor Mahia hitman Omala
Another club has also shown interest in Omala after Orlando Pirates were reported to be monitoring him last month.
His goals did not just help Gor to their 20th league crown but also earned him plenty of plaudits and interest from a host of clubs, especially in Africa.
There have been reports in South African media that the country’s football giants Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs are monitoring his progress with a view to submitting a bid while Tanzanian sides are also interested.
However, the striker would rather play in Europe if an opportunity presents itself, as opposed to plying his trade in Africa.
“All those are rumours, nothing confirmed yet. The league has just ended and maybe if there are offers, I will have to wait and hear from the club,” Omala told Pulse Sports.
“I still have a running contract with Gor Mahia, so if the offer is good we will talk. Europe will be better because I have been there, I can say right now, I have some little experience of playing there.”
Omala has previously tasted European football when he signed a short-term deal with Swedish Division One side FC Linkoping City in 2021.

The two clubs were among those linked with the attacker, who is set to be a hot cake in the transfer window.
However, things did not go so well for him, and he opted for an abrupt departure from the club after which he returned to Gor.
The striker feels he still has unfinished business in Europe and would like to go back and make amends after showing his true qualities in the Football Kenya Federation Premier League in 2022-23.
Leaving Gor will, however, not be easy for Omala with K’Ogalo counting on him ahead of next season when they will not only be challenging for the league title but also on the continental front in the CAF Champions League.
