Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim has defended the club’s decision to sell Anthony Elanga to Nottingham Forest despite the 1-0 humiliation at The City Ground on Tuesday night.
Anthony Elanga was sold to Nottingham Forest in 2023 by Erik ten Hag who felt like he was not living up to expectations. However, his time to shine came as he faced his former teammates in a Premier League match and did not disappoint.
Manchester United had gone into the match confident of making an impact but Anthony Elanga gave them a run for their money and scored the sole goal to earn Nottingham Forest three points.
