Celebrated brothers put their golfing skills to the test in the 5th edition of the recently concluded Alumni Golf Challenge tournament held at the Vetlab Sports Club Nairobi.
Legendary former Kenya 7s brothers Humphrey Kayange and Collins Injera took part in the 5th Edition of the highly anticipated Alumni Golf Challenge which took place at the Vetlab Sports Club on Friday, drawing over 120 participants representing 80 high schools from across the country.
The brothers were representing their former high schools, St. Peters Mumias Boys and Vihiga Boys high school respectively.
Eager to showcase their golfing skills having hung their rugby boots, the tournament was a chance for both to unleash their “inner Tiger Woods” after already sealing their places in the history of World 7s rugby.
Kayange, who was representing St. Peters High School finished 15th, accumulating a stable ford point of 34, six points behind the highest player and a handicap of 21. Not bad at all, considering he put some pro golfers like John Mburu and Robinson Owiti to shame.
