Former Super Eagles head coach Jose Peseiro has named a top European club he believes his former striker Victor Osimhen could join.
The Galatasaray ace played some of his best football under the Portuguese—his record-setting AFCON 2023 qualifiers and the tournament proper, where he led the lines as Nigeria charged to a silver medal finish.

'We are ready' — Osimhen provides update on his health ahead of Trabzonspor clash
Galatasaray's ace Victor Osimhen gave an important update on his injury situation.
During a recent interview, the now-departed coach spoke about Osimhen's current situation and acknowledged the rumours linking the Nigerian to a certain European club the 25-year-old could join.
What Peseiro said
The Nigerian ace is not expected to exceed this season at Galatasaray, as a desired move to a top European club is in his sights.
Other than the regular links to Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain, reports in the past few weeks have strongly suggested a return to Italy was in the cards, with AC Milan and Juventus the most keen.
Peseiro was asked about Juventus' prospects of landing the Nigerian, and he was forthcoming with his answer, stating that he could envision the former Royal Charleroi man in the Old Lady's white and black.
“Victor, for various reasons, is currently in Turkey,” Peseiro told Sports Italia. “But I believe that in the near future he can reach (as he was very close to doing) the top clubs in Europe, such as Juventus.”
