Manchester United are still in search for more players but it seems like Bayern Munich is where they are pushing their cart to

Manchester United are reportedly plotting an ambitious move to secure the services of three Bayern Munich stars Leon Goretzka, Leroy Sané, and Alphonso Davies this January, as Erik ten Hag seeks to bolster his squad following a disappointing start to the season.

After a substantial summer investment, including the signings of Matthijs de Ligt and Noussair Mazraoui for a combined £60 million, United have struggled to find form in the Premier League.

With the team languishing in the lower half of the table, the club is eager to make significant additions to reinvigorate their campaign.

According to Sky Germany's Florian Plettenberg, Ten Hag's side is closely monitoring the situations of Goretzka and Sané, both of whom have found themselves on the periphery of Bayern's starting lineup this season.

Goretzka has managed just a single minute of action in the Bundesliga, while Sané has seen limited playtime, featuring for only 32 minutes across the first six fixtures.

In addition to Goretzka and Sané, United have identified left-back Alphonso Davies as a crucial target. His contract is set to expire at the end of the season, and while he has been a key player for Bayern, his future remains uncertain.

A move for Davies would address United’s pressing need for a recognized left-back, particularly with ongoing injury concerns for Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia.

While there is significant interest in these players, reports suggest that Goretzka is keen to remain with Bayern beyond January, and Sané is engaged in contract negotiations with the club.

However, United may leverage their financial power and the lure of Premier League football to persuade the trio to make the switch.

Ten Hag faces mounting pressure to turn around the club’s fortunes. With upcoming fixtures against Brentford, Fenerbahce, West Ham, and Chelsea, every game is critical for the Dutchman as he aims to stabilize his position and rekindle the team’s competitive spirit.

Should United succeed in their efforts to bring in Goretzka, Sané, and Davies, it could mark a significant turning point for the club this season, enhancing their prospects both domestically and in European competition.

The Red Devils will be hoping for a swift resolution to these pursuits as they aim to climb the Premier League table and regain their status as a top contender.
