Ugandan international Isaac Muleme has extended his contract with FK Viktoria Žižkov in the Czech Republic.
FK Viktoria Žižkov is one of the oldest football clubs in the Czech Republic competing in the Bohemian Football League, the third tier of football in the country.
The club made the announcement on their Facebook page expressing delight with the Ugandan left-back.
“Reporting to Uganda - we will keep Mr. Isaac (Muleme) here, on contract, for some time!”
Muleme earned himself a starting role in the Žižkov based club with 21 appearances in his debut season. He joined the club in 2019 and was loaned to FC Nitra in Slovakia after his debut spell.

The development comes at a time when former Uganda Cranes captain Denis Onyango, a legend at the club, is reportedly open to options as his current contract at the club is set to expire this month.
Prior to moving to Europe, Muleme had a short spell in Egypt with Hars el-Hodod Sporting Club in the 2017/18 season, where he made 13 appearances and scored one goal.
Muleme started his career at SC Villa’s youth ranks before featuring for the SC Victoria University and KCCA FC.
He has earned 35 national team caps as he was part of the Cranes’ Chan finals in 2014, 2016, 2018 and 2019 Afcon.
