Arguably the most sought-after striker in the world right now, Alexander Isak’s future is one of the most anticipated transfer saga with the summer approaching. However, the striker has now provided some clarity.
Currently away on International duty with Sweden, the striker’s future was brought up once again during an interview with Swedish outlet Fotbollskanal.
He reiterated how much he loves Newcastle United, and how he is not thinking about his next move at the moment.
"It’s been written how much I love the city and the club, how well I feel there. I’m not thinking about the future,” he said
"I just want to perform for Newcastle. Now we won the cup, but we want to finish strong and reach the Champions League games. That’s where my focus lies" he added.
Isak is fresh from scoring against Liverpool in the EFL Cup final, helping the Magpies end a seven-decade trophy drought. The striker was signed from Spanish side Real Sociedad and has developed to become one of the best strikers in the world at Newcastle.

Arsenal, Manchester United and Barcelona all keen on Isak
The Swedish striker is not short of suitors despite his recent comments about focusing on his current club, Newcastle.
Barcelina are considering breaking the bank for the striker according to reports, while he has been rumored to be Arsenal’s prime target in their pursuit for a level-raising striker.
Manchester United have also been reported to be interested, as they rebuild their squad under Ruben Amorim.
Reports suggest that he could cost as much as £150 million, which will be a significant outlay for any club interested.
