Jose Mourinho was not happy with what he saw from the officials against Trabzonspor, including a dangerous tackle on a Super Eagles defender.

Fenerbahce’s head coach Jose Mourinho has expressed his outrage following a controversial match against Trabzonspor, which saw a dangerous tackle on his player, Super Eagles defender Bright Osayi-Samuel.

The incident has sparked significant debate about the quality of officiating in Turkish football, with Mourinho not holding back in his criticism.

In a tightly contested game, Fenerbahce came from behind twice to seal a dramatic 3-2 against Trabzonspor. However, the result was overshadowed by a series of contentious refereeing decisions that left Mourinho fuming.

The most alarming moment came when Super Eagles defender Osayi-Samuel was on the receiving end of a reckless tackle that could have resulted in severe injury.

Big win for Fenerbahce.

Mourinho claimed that the VAR referee, Atilla Karaoglan, failed to act promptly on what he described as a clear red card offence.

"We were in control, winning 1-0 when Atilla Karaoglan woke up because in the first half he was having Turkish tea when there was a clear red card for Bright," Mourinho said.

Mourinho posted the tackle on his Instagram page.

"Nobody abroad wants to watch the Turkish league. Who wants to watch this? They have the Premier League, German, French, Portuguese, and Dutch leagues. Why should they see this?"
