Speaking about the upcoming transfer window, Arteta said:
"It's going to be a big one, and we are very excited about it.
"When you go again, you want to improve the squad’s depth, quality, and skills to take the next step.
"Every summer is important because it gives us an opportunity. With the number of players we have right now, it is necessary to make changes.
"But it’s also a big summer because we must keep the strong foundations we have while also finding ways to improve and evolve the team."*
He also addressed Berta’s arrival from Atlético Madrid and how it will affect the summer transfer plans.
"He will get involved in our transfer plans, and hopefully he will improve them. That’s why he is here."
