Super Eagles hero Fisayo Dele-Bashiru has expressed his gratitude at being called up for Nigeria and claimed he was surprised.

Dele-Bashiru was in action for the Super Eagles against Libya and started the game from the bench.

The midfielder was substituted late in the second half and scored the winning goal for Nigeria in the 86th minute.

His goal sealed the win for Nigeria after several efforts to break down the Libyan defence for most of the game.
