Juventus star Manuel Locatelli has opened up about why he chose the Old Lady over Premier League side Arsenal.
The Italian star was linked with a move to Arsenal several times in the past, but a deal failed to materialise.
The 26-year-old then made a move to Juventus in 2021 on a two-year loan deal from Sausslo till 2023.
The midfielder’s move to the Allianz Stadium was then made permanent by Juventus for a fee worth €35 million.

Juventus star Locatelli has said that he did not regret his decision to join the Old Lady and ignore Arsenal.
According to Fabrizio on X via Tuttosport, Manuel Locatelli said, “I’ve no regrets for joining Juventus instead of Arsenal.
“But I love watching football, and I like watching their games and I respect their coach, Mikel Arteta.”
The midfielder has enjoyed his stay at Juventus, having made 138 appearances, scoring 4 goals and providing 13 assists for Juventus.
Meanwhile, Arsenal have moved on from missing out on the midfielder and have signed another player.
The Gunners completed the signing of Mikel Merino from Real Sociedad for an initial fee worth £27.4m with a further £4.2m in add-ons.
However, the new signing has not featured for Mikel Arteta’s team this season due to an injury he sustained during his first training session.
