As it happened
Marco Silva made just one change to the Fulham side held to a 2-2 by Bournemouth last time out.
On the other hand, Ben Johnson and Sammie Szmodics returned for Ipswich as they target a win that would lift them out of the bottom three.
Ipswich shocked the host in the first half to take the lead after Bassey failed to make a proper clearance when Antonee Robinson headed against his own bar while trying to defend a lovely ball into the box by Athan Broadhead with Sammie Szmodics prodding home.
Fulham got an equaliser in the second half from the penalty spot, which was converted by Raul Jimenez, but the visitors responded immediately to take the lead through Liam Delap’s penalty kick.
It was looking like Fulham would end up losing the game, but a late penalty that was awarded to Jimenez and coolly converted saved Fulham’s blushes.
Ipswich held on until the final whistle and settled for a draw, but the result still leaves them in the relegation battle.
