But it was on his preferred platform, Snapchat, where the Nigerian star let his personality shine.

In a video shared with his followers, Iwobi showed his post-match recovery ritual, enjoying a plate of fufu and egusi soup while vibing to the popular Christian tune, “We are saying thank you Jesus, thank you my Lord…”

His caption read, “We are saying you thank,” reflecting his gratitude in his signature lighthearted style.

He wrapped up the clip with a personal touch, adding, “Mummy, thank you,” a nod to his appreciation for his family’s support.

Iwobi’s heroics on the pitch and his joyful response off it have only added to the growing admiration for the versatile midfielder, who continues to make history while keeping his faith and roots front and centre.
