Jadon Sancho returns to Manchester United after ending dispute with Ten Hag

English winger Jadon Sancho has been returned to the fold at Manchester United after dispute settling talks with Erik ten Hag.

Jadon Sancho has returned to Manchester United training after reportedly squashing his dispute with club manager Erik ten Hag. 

The 24-year-old English midfielder spend half of last season on loan at Borussia Dortmund, after he was frozen out of first team dynamics. He has now been returned to the fold following progressive talks with Ten Hag, according to reports. 

What happened 

After a Premier League game at Arsenal last season in which Jadon Sancho was a conspicuous omission, Ten Hag was questioned about his reasoning, and he bluntly explained that the Englishman’s lack of involvement was down to his poor form in training. 

Seemingly ired by the Dutch manager’s comment, Sancho took to social media in an attempt to defend himself. Sancho denounced Ten Hag’s remarks in a message he has since deleted.

The Manchester City academy graduate was banished from the squad, with his reinstatement conditioned on him apologising; however, he refused.

He refused to budge for months, and was eventually loaned out to Borussia Dortmund, where he thrived and reached the Champions League final. He has now returned to Manchester United, and per reports, his issues with ten Hag has been resolved. 

Sancho returns to Manchester United 

According to multiple reports, Sancho has Ten Hag has a face to face meeting go resolve their dispute. The talks are reported to have been productive, with both parties having agreed to  resolve the issue.

Manchester United announced that Sancho has returned to training, and he will be available for their pre-season games. 

Meanwhile, the Red Devils have reached an agreement for the signing of Joshua Zirkzee from Bologna. They will pay slightly above his €40 million release clause to enable them spread the fee across three installments.
