Amos Etoju has joined JInja North United from Mbale Heroes on a one-year deal.
StarTimes FUFA Big League side Jinja North United has continued to bolster its squad ahead of the tough season ahead.
The Jinja side has seen a number of former topflight players join the team, with the latest being central midfielder Amos Atoju from Mbale Heroes.
The former Busoga United and BUL FC budding midfielder will be a key addition to coach Sadiq Ssempijja’s squad as he seeks to promote the second team in a row.
“We wanted a versatile player who can play several positions and we feel his addition gives us more depth in the squad, especially in the midfield,” coach Ssempijja told Pulse Sports after the unveiling.
The coach responsible for promoting Mbarara City last season has added in several former topflight players, including former Maroons' midfielder Bronson Nsubuga.
Other new faces at the club include former Vipers goalkeeper Mugolofa Mutwalibu, Johnson Ssenyonga, Micheal Kibi, Salim Huud, Isaac Kizza, and Lawrence Nduga.
Jinja North United will seek to better their 9th-place finish in last year’s table when the league finally kicks off next month.
