Joao Felix has suggested he may stay at Chelsea beyond the summer as he enjoys the 'freedom' offered to him at Stamford Bridge.
Joao Felix joined Chelsea on loan from Atletico Madrid in January and has had a mixed start to his time at the club.
He was given his marching orders on his Blues' debut against Fulham and missed three games with the resulting ban.
However, since he returned, he has looked like an inspired piece of business. He scored his first goal for the club against West Ham earlier this month and has regularly been Chelsea's most exciting player in games.
Feix hints at Chelsea stay
Speaking to Eleven Portugal, Felix said:
''The position I play, and the way we play at Chelsea is different to Atletico. Clearly, I have more freedom to put my football into practice, to be at my best to help the team. I feel good playing here. It's just a matter of getting results and it will be perfect.''
Chelsea have just one win in seven games since Felix made his debut.
Graham Potter has overseen a torrid few months, seeing his side fall to 10th in the league and now facing an uphill battle in the Champions League after losing 1-0 to Borussia Dortmund in the first leg of their last 16 tie.
Chelsea must be reeling from the disappointing loss to Southampton at home last weekend and will hope to put things right as soon as possible.
The Blues travel to Tottenham on Sunday in a game that could be even more significant should Potter's men lose again. Despite a £300m outlay on attacking talent, they continue to find it hard to score goals consistently.
