Report: Super Eagles striker Paul Onuachu forces exit from Southampton
Super Eagles forward Paul Onauchu applies pressure on Southampton in their negotiations with his desired club, Trabzonspor.
He enjoyed a lot of mainstream attention from the isolated incident; however, that surge in public interest could become the norm for Osayi-Samuel and his Fenerbahce teammate, as they now have a superstar manager in Mourinho.
The 26-year-old has enjoyed the first weeks under Mourinho, and in a recent interview, he spoke glowingly of the Portuguese tactician.
What Osayi-Samuel said
According to Fanatik, Bright is enjoying life with Mourinho as his gaffer. “Mourinho is scary but also very nice. It is a great honour to work with him,” Osayi-Samuel said.
“I want to learn the history of the players. He instils self-confidence in the player. I think I will learn a lot while working with him this year.”
Fenerbahce signed Mourinho earlier in the summer, after parting ways with ex-manager Ismail Kartal. Jose would have to hit the ground running as quickly as possible, as the standards at the Turkish side are high.
Kartal was fired despite coming second to Galatasaray in a season in which he amassed 99 points and only lost one match. Mourinho’s former player, Mikel Obi, warned him as much. The former Trabzonspor midfielder told his ex-coach that fans in Turkey could immediately turn on him if results go awry.
