Kenya U17 women’s national team, popularly known as Junior Starlets, have received major cash incentives following their World Cup qualification for the first time in history.

Football Kenya Federation announced that the team will have a three-week camp in Marbella, Spain in September to tune up for the global tournament, set to take place between October 16 and November 3.

Kenya’s Junior Starlets will spend three weeks in Spain to tune up for the Women’s U17 World Cup after sealing a historic qualification on Sunday.
The draw for the tournament is scheduled for this month and it will determine the exact groups and matchups.
Kenya, who are joined by Zambia and Nigeria by qualifying from Africa, will come up against powerhouses from Asia, like Japan and the two Koreas, who have a strong history in the tournament.
From the Americas, traditional football giants like Brazil and the USA are likely contenders while 2022 champions Spain, England and Poland are some of the potential threats from Europe.
