The Kenya U18 captain met the legendary former World Cup semi-finalist and Champions League-winning defender Patrik Jonas Andersson earlier this week.
Kenya U18 captain Amos Wanjala was privileged to meet former Barcelona and Bayern Munich defender Patrik Jonas Andersson earlier this week.
Wanjala, who is based in Spain’s Nastic Soccer Academy alongside the likes of Alvin Kasavuli and boy wonder Aldrine Kibet, posted a photo of him next to the former Sweden international.
“Delighted to have met Patrik Jonas Andersson a former professional footballer who played as a defender for FC Bayern Munich and Barcelona,” Wanjala wrote on his Facebook page.
Andersson earned a total of 96 caps for Sweden, scoring three goals. He won a bronze medal in the 1994 World Cup and was also part of the team that reached the semi-finals of the 1992 Euros.
