Jurgen Klopp marks returns to coaching with 5-4 win

Jurgen Klopp returned to the Signal Iduna Park to lead a team to victory.

Jurgen Klopp returned to the dugout for the first time since stepping down as Liverpool boss, to oversee team Blaszczykowski in a testimonial game against team Piszczek, and he led his side to a 5-4 victory. 

Dortmund honoured two of their legends this past weekend, the Polish duo of Jakub Blaszczykowski and Lucasz Piszczek, who were both present in the Bundesliga triumph of 2011 and 2012 under Klopp, with a testimonial game. Both sides fielded former teammates of their and played out a nine-goal thriller.

Team Piszczek was coached by Klopp's assistant Peter Krawietz. He had the following players in his team:

Meanwhile, Klopp was in attendance in Paris for the Olympic games, and now he was seen at the Paralympics, showing support to his friend Wojtek Czyz.

Klopp has admired his friend Wojtek Czyz, a multiple Paralympic champion who has overcome a devastating football injury to compete at the highest level.
