See what Manchester United fans want Ruben Amorim to do with Ruud van Nistelrooy after victory against Leicester City.
2/2 for Amorim since taking United job
Ahead of the game against City, Amorim told fans that a victory in the game could help United supporters view him as the new Sir Alex Ferguson. While he had success in the match, an incredible 4-1 thumping of Manchester City, it was the victory against Braga tonight that was most like the legendary Scottish manager, as Amorim’s side left it late to beat their opposition to maintain their 100% record in the league.
Ricardo Horta’s first-half brace put Braga in the driving seat, and Hidesa Morita halved the deficit just before the hour mark.
Sporting will not score again until after the 80th-minute mark, from which point they score three goals. Morten Hjulmand scored the equaliser in the 81st minute before a Conrad Harder brace in the dying embers ensured victory for Sporting.
