Paul Merson has raved about Manchester City's Savinho, comparing him to Barcelona's Lamine Yamal, after the Brazilian's impressive display in City's 4-1 win over Ipswich Town on Saturday.
The Brazilian winger won the penalty that led to Erling Haaland's equaliser before setting up Kevin De Bruyne to make it 2-1.

Speaking after the game, Merson said on Sky Sports;
"Savinho, oh my, what a star, he's gonna be a superstar.

"He runs with the ball, but his decision-making is unbelievable."
What really impressed Merson was Savinho's ability to balance his dazzling dribbling skills with smart decision-making.
"He reminds me a little bit of Yamal, they can dribble, but their decision-making... they can run with it, but they get their head up and make that right pass at the right time."
Savinho has started his City career brightly and will hope to remain an important part of the starting lineup as the season progresses.
