The former RS Berkane striker powered K’Ogalo to a huge win over Vihiga Bullets on Wednesday.
New Gor Mahia striker Patrick Kaddu is optimistic of a far better performance after registering his Football Kenya Federation Premier League (FKFPL) hat-trick in the 5-0 win over Vihiga Bullets.
Austin Odhiambo scored first to open the floodgates for four more goals, in which Kaddu was heavily involved later. After Odhiambo’s opener, Peter Lwasa struck before Kaddu’s 52nd, 54th, and 85th-minute goals.
After his historic debut, the new signing hopes to have an impressive run with the Kenyan giants.
"It is the kind of debut I would have liked to have, and I am very happy the game went this way. I knew I could definitely score, but I was not sure it would be a hat-trick," Kaddu said.

FKFPL Kaddu makes loud entry to Gor Mahia with stunning hat trick, Tusker and Leopards win
Uganda Cranes forward bid his time until second half before pouncing.
"I am happy for myself and the fans. I know the Kenyan league is very competitive, but I am prepared to do my best. When Gor Mahia said they wanted my services, I did not hesitate to sign for them.
"Now I'm looking forward to many good results like this one."
On his part, head coach Johnathan McKinstry hailed his new acquisition and explained why it is always difficult for players to make an immediate impact after signing.

FKFPL FIFA finally lifts debilitating transfer ban on Gor Mahia
K'Ogalo was forced to pay their former players before being cleared.
"Kaddu is a good player with great quality, and he has proven that. I knew he would give us the goals that we need in order to push for the league title," the former Uganda Cranes coach said.
"I am happy he scored a hat-trick. It is our first game with some new players, and integrating new players into what has been a stable lineup for the last 20 games is always not easy.
"It does not matter how good a player is; the fact that he is new to the system and new to his teammates sometimes means it might take a little bit long."
With a strengthened squad, especially the attacking department, which also has current top scorer Benson Omala, Gor Mahia are expected to be more lethal as the title race picks up more speed.
