The tactician feels the Ingwe supporters should turn out in large numbers and support the team against their arch rivals
Kakamega Homeboyz head coach Patrick Odhiambo has advised AFC Leopards fans to rally behind their team as they prepare to face bitter rivals Gor Mahia on Sunday.
Ingwe fans were banned by the federation from attending four league matches after they disrupted the game against Odhiambo’s side at the Bukhungu Stadium in April, and despite the fact that the suspension has since expired, they have opted against attending matches.
“It is not good at all, fans should stop the protests and come to watch their team play,” Odhiambo said. “They are needed and their support is important because they are the fabric of any team."
The tactician strongly condemned hooliganism in football and advised fans to watch matches without taking things personally.

FKF directed that four Leopards matches be played behind closed doors and docked them six points as well as a fine of Sh500,000. However, the decision was reversed on May 4 by the FKF Competitions Committee following an appeal by the club.
