Homeboyz beat Tusker 1-0 courtesy of a goal by Kevin Amwayi to gift them their only FKF Cup title.
After winning the cup, former FKF president Sam Nyamweya lauded the club's chairman Cleophas Shimanyula for how he has built the squad over time.
"I am happy with the way he has built a team of young and experienced players. They have had a good season in the league and now in the domestic cup, and I am sure they will not let Kenyans down in the Confederation Cup," Nyamweya said.
