The player was reported missing on Saturday afternoon after her club friendly against Uweza Women FC in Nairobi.
Relatives of missing Kangemi Ladies footballer Halima Abkula have begun a search for the player who has been uncontactable since Saturday, April 15.
Her family commenced the search on social media on Monday, where they launched an appeal expressing their concerns and urged those with information to come forward as soon as possible.
According to a public notice being shared, the player went missing after a football match between Kangemi Ladies where she turns out for and Uweza Women FC played in Toi Grounds in Kibera.
The notice further revealed that she was last seen wearing a blue denim jacket, blue jeans, a black pullover, a floral shirt in blue and white, and a black pair of shoes.

The search is expected to continue on Wednesday, and according to a source from one of the phone numbers placed on the notice, police have been involved in the search.
“The search is ongoing, and her mother is hopeful that she will be reunited with the family,” a source who sought anonymity told Pulse Sports.
Efforts to get more information from the contacts given on the notice were unsuccessful as they considered the matter sensitive at the moment.
