Nwankwo Kanu's led management at Enyimba can finally breathe after winning their first victory in three matches.

After a series of setbacks, Nwankwo Kanu's Enyimba secured a much-needed 1-0 victory against Rivers United, managed by their former coach, Finidi George.

The win ended Enyimba's winless streak of three matches and marked only their second victory in the last nine games.

The decisive moment came in the first half when Imo Obot scored a stunning free-kick, leaving the Rivers United goalkeeper helpless.

Enyimba had shown early dominance, but a crucial save from their goalkeeper, Ani, kept the score level before Obot's breakthrough.
