Kimani, who shone while playing for Beldine Odemba's Highway Secondary School in the 2022 National School games, returns to Sharks having featured for their youth set up at u15 level.
Kariobangi Sharks have snatched yet another prospect from their Slum Derby rivals Mathare United, signing Lenox Kimani on a two-year contract.
Two days ago, they confirmed the signing of Donald Ange from the same side, and have now snapped yet another one of their players in Kimani.
Kimani returns to Sharks having been part of the side’s u15 set up before he left to pursue first team opportunities, but returns as a player ready to help his side to achieve its set targets for the season.
Kimani was part of the Highway Secondary School team that defied all the odds to reach the final of the 2022 Secondary School football games, being head and shoulders above the rest with his nonchalant calmness on the ball and the ability to spray passes across the field that split opposition defenses with relative ease.

FKFPL Congolese striker completes Kariobangi Sharks switch
The Congolese striker joins Kariobangi Sharks from Mathare United.
He had a chance to join FC Talanta after completing his form four exams last year, before opting to join Mathare United in their quest to help them avoid relegation from the FKFPL after 25 years.
Although he tried to help make a difference, Mathare could not avoid the drop, which has left Kimani with no choice but to return to the side that helped nurture his career while still a minor player.
Kimani who also turned out for his hood club Victors United before joining Mathare, has revealed that hopes to one day down the jersey of French giants AS Monaco in some capacity in future.
