Kevin Olang'o, the elder brother to missing KCB goalkeeper, has given an account of the last moments before his disappearance on Sunday.

FC Talanta goalkeeper Kevin Olang’o has given a detailed account of his brother Brian’s mysterious disappearance after it was reported on Monday morning that the KCB custodian was missing.

Olang’o junior, himself a keeper like his brother, was reported missing at the Makongeni Police Station on Monday morning by his family, just over 12 hours after he was last seen by them.

Olang’o senior spoke to Pulse Sports, giving an account of his last moments with his younger brother on Sunday evening.

“His phone keeps getting switched off and turned on, switched off and turned on. He keeps getting online, chats and then switches off,” Olang’o said.

“He said he had gone to visit friends and then left last Sunday at 6 PM  and did not come back.”

Olang’o has expressed concern about his brother’s failure to return home, saying he always tends to say where he is at if he fails to return home on time.

“It is not normal for him to fail to return without saying it.”

A source close to the club’s dressing room has also confirmed the news to Pulse Sports, also claiming that his phone has gone unanswered so far.

“We dropped him at Jogoo Road on Friday because that is where we drop and pick him,” the source said.

“He even posted a video on the players’ WhatsApp group on Sunday and I commented on it myself.”

Opiyo, known for his past affiliations with the national U17 team, Kariobangi Sharks, and Mathare United, has left many worried about his sudden disappearance.
