Traguil, who was officially unveiled as KCCA FC's manager on June 12, 2023, has appointed Luis Manuel Correira Guerreiro as his assistant manager.

KCCA FC has made significant progress in shaping their coaching staff with new manager Sergio Daniel Moniz Traguil confirming appointments of two members of his backroom staff.

Traguil, who was officially unveiled as KCCA FC's manager on June 12, 2023, has appointed Luis Manuel Correira Guerreiro as his assistant manager.

Guerreiro's contract is initially set for one year with the option to renew, In addition, Eduardo Lazaro Ramon Leiva has been named as the club's strength and conditioning coach for a period of two years.

Leiva, a Cuban native, brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in physical therapeutic culture and rehabilitation, according to a statement from the club.

KCCA also explained that Eduardo holds a Masters Degree in Physical Therapeutic Culture and Rehabilitation and possesses licenses in physical culture, therapeutic massage, and physiotherapy.

His expertise will play a crucial role in ensuring the players' fitness and conditioning, a vital aspect of modern football.

While the assistant manager and strength and conditioning coach have been confirmed, KCCA FC is yet to announce the rest of their backroom staff.

However, fans can expect further announcements in the coming weeks as Traguil finalizes his team of professionals.

It is understood that former KCCA FC player and manager Jackson Mayanja will have a role to play on the backroom staff under Traguil.

Mayanja served as interim manager for the last eight matches, with the club’s decision makers holding discussions about extending his stay.

Mayanja's contract as interim manager is set to expire at the end of June, but a new deal could see him continue in a coaching capacity alongside Traguil.

The appointment of Sergio Daniel Moniz Traguil as KCCA FC's manager has injected a renewed sense of optimism into the club.

Traguil, a Portuguese tactician, brings a wealth of experience to the position, having coached teams across Africa, including stints in Nigeria, Ghana, Tanzania, Angola, and Botswana.

With a two-year contract in hand, Traguil is set to take charge on July 1 and will immediately focus on preparing the team for the CAF Confederation Cup Preliminary rounds, scheduled for August.

The Kasasiro Boys have endured a four-year trophy drought, and the new coaching staff, led by Sergio Traguil, will be determined to guide the team back to glory.
