It was a heavily contested affair as 13-time Uganda Premier League champions KCCA FC and leaders BUL FC were locked in a 0-0 draw at the MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo, on Friday.
The most significant chance of the evening came in the 83rd minute, but KCCA's Ettiene Katenga missed a seater after being set through by Joao Gabriel.
Kcca had another opportunity to break the deadlock later, but Mustafa Kizza's freekick sailed inches wide.
Three BUL players, Ibrahim Mugulusi, Martin Aprem and Lawrence Tezikya, were all forced off through respective injuries.
BUL stayed on top with 34 points in 16 games after the result.
They will host Soltilo Bright Stars FC in their next match on Wednesday.
On the other hand, KCCA, who have stayed ninth with 20 points, will visit Express FC at the Muteesa II Stadium, Wankulukuku, next week on Saturday.
