According to several reports, Kampala City Council Authority Football Club forward Rogers Mato is on the verge of joining European paid ranks.
According to multiple reports, Mato's impressive performances have caught the attention of a Slovenian club.
KCCA FC is reportedly set to seal the deal for their 2022/23 season club's top goal scorer of 11 goals, only two short of Allan Kayiwa, the golden boot winner.
Mato joined KCCA FC in the 2021/22 season from Proline on a four-year contract and soon became a reliable striker.
Mato also proved his worth on the senior national team, the Cranes, when he scored the solitary goal against Tanzania in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
