"He has the potential to improve and play at a top level," Mubiru showered Ayella in praise ahead of their next tie with Gaddafi FC.

"You see, it is very difficult for some young players, and it needs some special talent to perform at a top club and come on when the club is struggling."

KCCA takes on Gaddafi at the MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo, on Friday, hoping to put their recent struggles behind them.

They sit second from bottom on the league table, having accumulated just four points in eight games.

"Because if the club had a good run, it could be easier, but for someone to come on in such hard times and put on a good show, it shows he has some special talent, and we're looking at improving him," Mubiru continued on the prodigy.

The tactician will be hoping Ayella, who has made three other appearances, albeit off the bench, can spur his side to a much-needed victory against Gaddafi.
