The champions of the Nigeria Beach Soccer League, Kebbi Beach Soccer Club, has made history in Italy by advancing to the last 16 of the 2023 World Winners Cup.
Pulse Sports reports that Kebbi Beach Soccer Club (BSC) defended the title of the Nigeria Beach Soccer League after a 3-2 win over Nmanko Patigi BSC in the final match of the last phase in Birnin Kebbi, the Kebbi State capital.

Kebbi Fishers, and a team from the league will represent Nigeria at World Winners Cup in Italy later this year.

Their historic achievement was completed with a stunning 15-1 victory over the Slovakian team BS Vion. This decisive victory sent Kebbi to the round of 16, marking a notable achievement for the Nigerian team.
Filipov and Ekene Obi were crucial, scoring two goals in the first period and seven more in the second, which became the game's highest-scoring period.
Usman Muhammad, Hassan Muhammed, Nazarov, and Ekene Obi all rdcord their names of the goal chart, and Filipov added another brace in the final quarter. Letko made certain that the Slovakians did not go home empty-handed.

Nigerian Beach Soccer legend Abu Azeez has reflected on his trophyless time at Enyimba after watching them lift the NPFL title.
Despite a difficult start for the Nigerian based club with a 7-4 loss to ASD Napoli, Kebbi bounced back excellently and advanced to the next round of the competition. They finished third in a group that includes Denmark's Copenhagen BSC and the defeated BS Vion.
