Kenya Police have been pooled in a tricky group A of the 2024 CECAFA Women's Championships, with the eventual winner of the tournament set to qualify for the CAF Champions League.
Reigning Women’s Premier League champions Kenya Police Bullets have placed in a relatively tough group for the upcoming CECAFA zonal qualifiers, which will serve as the pathway for the 2024 CAF Women's Champions League.
Police have placed in Group A alongside Commercial Bank of Ethiopia (CBE), Yei Joint FC of South Sudan, Warriors Queens of Zanzibar and Rayon Sports Women of Rwanda.
Under the leadership of Beldine Odemba, the league’s sole female coach, the team played 19 matches, winning 15 and drawing four.
Unlike the men’s competition, where the winner secures an automatic spot in the Champions League, the victor of the women's league must earn their place through zonal qualifiers.

CBE, a strong contender who has previously come close to securing the sole CECAFA ticket, is anticipated to be a significant challenge for Police in Group A.
Group B comprises Simba Queens of Tanzania,FAD Djibouti, Kawempe Muslim Ladies and PVP Buyenzi.
The CECAFA Zone qualifiers will take place in Ethiopia from August 17th to September 4th, with only one of the nine participating teams earning a ticket to the CAF Women's Champions League.
