Kisumu All Starlets head coach Beryl Oketch has revealed the fitness state of dependable striker Monica Etot.
The forward's goal drought persisted on Sunday to five matches as All Starlets lost 3-1 to Zetech Sparks in their Football Kenya Federation Women's Premier League (FKFWPL) match at Ruaraka Stadium.

Midfielder Lydia Awour scored the consolation goal for Kisumu, with Susan Nyumba, Puren Alukwe, and Fridhaus Abdalla finding the back of the net for Sparks.
Etot scored 13 goals this season and was touted to grab the Golden Boot award, but Oketch has revealed that injury woes have ruined the player's plans.
"Etot injured her leg during our FKF Women Cup match against Mombasa Olympique Ladies in Mombasa. Since then she has been surviving on injections and painkillers so that she can play because we have a very lean squad," she said.

However, Oketch is hopeful that with the lean squad, they will win their last match against Trans Nzoia Falcons and escape the chop.
"I am still optimistic that we will play in the league next season, we will fight until our last match," said Oketch.
