While BUL have 39 points after 19 matches, URA moved from seventh to fifth with 31 points. The latter have played 20 games.

It was an uneventful evening of Uganda Premier League action as all three low-scoring draws were recorded in as many matches across various stadiums this Friday.

Tables leaders Kitara FC were locked in a barren draw with Maroons FC at the Luzira Prison Grounds.

The contest was evenly poised despite Kitara nearly stealing the victory late on through a Denis Omedi freekick that was denied by the woodwork.

After 20 games, the Royals moved to 40 points, one adrift of runners-up BUL FC, who also drew with URA FC 1-1 on the evening.

Meanwhile, Maroons have stayed fourth on the log with 31 points.

In the BUL-URA contest, Norman Namanya grabbed the lead in the first minute for the latter, before Amos Kirya levelled matters midway through the first half.

The day's hosts stayed 11th with 24 points in 20 games, while Mbarara are 10th with the same point-tally, but with a game in hand.
