Highly rated Vipers SC versatile midfielder-cum-attacker Najib Yiga has completed a move to Uganda Premier League newbies Kitara Football Club.
Yiga has officially been secured on a season long loan deal by the Royals from the Venoms after the two teams reached an agreement weeks back.
The St Mary's Boarding Secondary Kitende (SMASK) graduate has already moved to Hoima and joined his new teammates for training at the St John Bosco Seminary playgrounds in Bujumbura.
Yiga, who can also operate as a winger and striker, has since played two friendly games with the Royals, and his performance looked impressive.
He came off the bench in the second half against both Pajobi United and Bugoigo Leopards FC in Buliisa last week.
Yiga has been through the national team ranks, including the U20 and U-23 teams, and has been summoned to the senior squad.
He also featured in the CAF Champions League (last season) and has won two Uganda Premier League titles and a Uganda Cup with Vipers.
