Liverpool fans can breathe a sigh of relief as Mohamed Salah is anticipated to remain with the club for the upcoming season.
Despite nearing the final stretch of his contract, the 31-year-old attacker has shown no inclination to depart, aligning perfectly with Liverpool's intentions.
However, after his touchline burst up with manager Jurgen Klopp during Liverpool’s 2-2 draw with West Ham, it was speculated that he could leave at the end of the season.

The view in the Saudi Pro League (SPL) hierarchy is that Salah wishes to spend another campaign with Liverpool, as reported by The Athletic.
While rumours of a move to Saudi Arabia swirled after Al Ittihad's pursuit last summer, it seems Salah's focus remains on Liverpool. Although the SPL's interest persists, it has notably cooled compared to previous seasons.
If the forward does not extend his Liverpool terms or commit elsewhere, the SPL might prefer to focus on Salah in 2025.
Salah's contract situation is not the only concern for Liverpool's management. Incoming sporting director Richard Hughes will have his hands full with the futures of key players like captain Virgil van Dijk and deputy Trent Alexander-Arnold, whose contracts also expire alongside Salah's.
These are among the matters to be addressed once the appointment of Arne Slot as manager Jurgen Klopp’s successor is finalized.
