FOOTBALL: Eight lessons learned from Harambee Stars' defeat to South Sudan
The loss saw South Sudan register their maiden win over Kenya since attaining independence back in 2011
“Jürgen has a long-term contract with Liverpool and is not available for the national coaching position," Kosicke said.
The national team has reportedly also lined up Julian Nagelsmann, Matthias Sammer, and Oliver Glasner for the job.
He has expressed interest in the role in the past and fans have long thought that managing his country would be the perfect way to follow his work at Liverpool.
“The job of national coach is and would be a great honour - there's no question about that. The problem that stands in the way of the whole thing is my loyalty,” Klopp told Sky Germany in July.

Amazon's All or nothing documentary on their debacle in Qatar exposed Flick and the team's inability to properly connect with each other.
In one tactical meeting, Flick turns to his coaching staff and players and says: “This isn't the team I imagined, honestly.”
Players looked disinterested in one snippet as he tried to motivate them by showing them clips of geese working together to become stronger.
However, under interim head coach and legendary striker Rudi Voller, they beat France 2-1 on Tuesday evening.
Voller has already ruled himelf out of contention for the job.
