YEG League will commence the League Cup on Wednesday
Ahead of the preparations for the upcoming season, the Kwara Kiddies YEG League will commence the League Cup, tomorrow, Wednesday, April 26, 2023.
The league cup serves as the opening act for the 2023 season, the league's second iteration.
Achievers FA will play against SGFC Athletics, a newcomer, in the first round opener on Wednesday at 4 p.m. at the Kwara Football Academy ground.
On Thursday, April 26, Solicitor FA will play Surprise FA; on Friday, April 27, Future Stars and Abraysports FA will square off; and on Saturday, April 29, LA Planet SA will play Makamz FA.
The first round winners and the top four teams from the previous season will compete in the second-round matches.

The Stakeholders delivered a lecture on the development of women's football in Ekiti and Nigeria at a symposium.
The league board also made clear that players who were properly cleared throughout the screening exercise will be registered and given the correct paperwork during the championship period.
While urging all the teams to cooperate with the league officials for the documentation process, it noted the need for them to always get to the match venue an hour to the kick off time in order to aid the process of players' registration.
Meanwhile, in preparation for the commencement of the league cup, the Kwara Kiddies League announced Valiant FC as one of the partners of the competition.
Valiant FC, who are champions of another private league, The Creative Champions will sponsor all the Man of the match awards during the championship.
Also worthy of note is the earlier announcement of CYTECK Engineering Construction and Technology Limited as the major sponsor of the league.
