Lagos, Ijebu-Ode to host Federation Cup Semi-Final matches On Thursday

Mobolaji Johnson Arena in Lagos and Otunba Dipo Dina Stadium in Ijebu-Ode will host the semi-finals of the men’s edition of this year’s NFF/TINGO Federation Cup competition.

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has confirmed that the Mobolaji Johnson Arena in Lagos and Otunba Dipo Dina Stadium in Ijebu-Ode will host the semi-finals of the men’s edition of this year’s Federation Cup competition.

In Lagos, Bendel Insurance and Warri Wolves will square off, with the winner earning the right to compete for the illustrious trophy the following month.

At the Otunba Dipo Dina Stadium in Ijebu-Ode, Rangers International which won the Africa Cup Winners' Cup in 1977 after a streak of FA Cup (the previous name for the Federation Cup) victories will take on the aspirational Plateau United FC.

Pulse Sports reported that Warri Wolves shocked Lobi Stars 2-1 to reach the semi-finals while Rangers pipped giant killers Doma United 1-0 at the Akure Township Stadium.

For Plateau United, they defeated Kwara United 2-1 in Abuja as Bendel Insurance defeated Sunshine Stars at the Awka Township Stadium to reach the last four.
