Nine schools in Lagos have been confirmed for the first-of-its-kind U15 Girls Inter-Secondary School Football Tournament.
Lagos Tigers FC and Kidsport FC are excited to announce the upcoming U15 Girls Inter-Secondary School Football Tournament, taking place on May 8th and 9th at Meadowhall Schools, Lekki, Lagos-Nigeria.
This tournament promises to be a thrilling showcase of young talent, featuring nine participating schools from across Lagos State.
Competition’s brief
The tournament aims to promote grassroots football in Lagos and provide a platform for young girls to showcase their skills and passion for the sport.
Through this tournament, Lagos Tigers FC and Kidsport FC hope to inspire young girls to pursue their dreams of playing football and also provide them with opportunities to earn scholarships and prizes.
According to to the organisers; "It is important for us to support and encourage young girls who are interested in football. This tournament is a great opportunity to showcase their skills and for us to identify potential future stars."

The tournament will feature a knockout format, with each game lasting 30 minutes. The grand finale will take place on May 9th, with the winner, first and second runner up receiving scholarships and other fantastic prizes.
