Yamal wins Young Player of the Season
LALIGA announced their end-of-the-season awards today via their official channels, and Barcelona’s Yamal was dubbed the best young player of the season in the Spanish top-flight
Aged 16, Yamal established himself as a key component of Xavi Hernandez’s Barcelona that finished second in LALIGA with 85 points, three shy of their league-winning tally of 88 points last season.
Although Yamal made his debut last season, it was in this campaign he truly blossomed, establishing himself as one of the best players in his position and a starter for the Blaugrana.

The teenager directly contributed to 10 goals for Barcelona this season in LALIGA, scoring 5 and assisting another 5.
