Bartlett praises Osimhen’s ruthlessness

The 1996 African Nations Cup champion, speaking as a pundit on Super Sports, described the Galatasaray striker as a goal machine, saying, “He’s not about flair. For him, it’s about stats. It’s about scoring goals, being in the right position, and using your physicality.”

The South African legend added, “He can do it with his left foot and right, we’ve seen him score headers as well and I think that’s what it’s all about.

“You don’t need to have flair, just finish. His price can go up by twenty million just for that. No sugar, no spice, just finish.

Osimhen and Lookman were too hot for Rwanda.

The former Charlton Athletic and FC Zurich striker certainly knows a thing or two about goalscoring as he is South Africa’s second-highest goalscorer of all time.

Osimhen’s brilliance could fire Nigeria to the World Cup

Osimhen’s two-goal heroics against Rwanda were a reminder of why he remains Nigeria’s biggest hope on the road to the 2026 World Cup.

Osimhen scored his 24th and 25th goals for Nigeria.

His sharp movement in the box and instinctive finishing left defenders struggling, a quality that South African coach Sudesh Singh also praised, saying, “The other thing is his movement in the box. It’s just like he’s in the kitchen. His movement is very intelligent. How to move, the anticipation and the arrival in the box.”

As Nigeria prepares to take on Zimbabwe in their next qualifier, Osimhen’s form will be crucial for the country’s hopes of reaching the 2026 World Cup.

Victor Osimhen celebrates the opener by pointing towards Ademola Lookman.

With the Super Eagles needing another win to solidify their qualification campaign, the Galatasaray star could once again prove why he is considered the best African striker of his generation.
