Pep Guardiola's Manchester City returned to winning ways with a 2-0 win over Leicester City at the King Power Stadium.

Manchester City earned only their second Premier League win since the end of October thanks to goals by Savinho and Erling Haaland.

City dominated the early stages, with Haaland and Savinho both coming close. S

Savinho finally broke the deadlock in the 37th minute, scoring his first goal for the club, after a Phil Foden shot was spilled by the Leicester keeper.

The hosts pushed hard for an equalizer, with Facundo Buonanotte hitting the post and Jamie Vardy missing a golden opportunity.

However, Haaland sealed the win for Guardiola's men in the 74th minute, heading in Savinho's cross.

The victory marked City's first away win in six Premier League matches and lifted them to seventh in the table.

Leicester, meanwhile, slumped to their fourth consecutive defeat under Ruud van Nistelrooy.

This victory should provide a much-needed boost for the champions, who are looking to revive their slim title hopes, and at the very least, finish the season strong.
